The airline wants to collect data on the average weight of travelers and their carry-on luggage that is the reason they want to weigh passengers when they carry heavy winter coats or travel lighter in warmer weather.<br \/>\nThe company spokesperson said in a statement that the company was conducting a study to determine whether they have accurate data on passenger standard weights.
