He was able to activate it and\u00a0tweeted a short video of the feature\u00a0in action. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kyle just hitched a ride in his sedan with the traffic light recognition feature enabled and\u00a0made a video\u00a0of what it looks like. Tesla watchers made the assumption that Conner got a ride with one of the automaker&#8217;s designated early adopter feature beta testers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As Model 3 approaches\nan intersection, the screen flashes a warning about the upcoming intersection\nthat says to stop for traffic control in 200 feet. Then appears the directive,\n&#8220;Use the accelerator or gear stalk to continue,&#8221; which pops up as the\nvehicle slows down. A gray line appears on the screen denoting the lights at\nthe intersection and bar turning red when the sedan detects a red light. When\nthe light turns green again, the red bar disappears and the driver gives the\ncar the signal to continue.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tesla still hasn&#8217;t released the feature to the public but that might be about to change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/electrek.co\/2019\/03\/28\/tesla-autopilot-stopping-red-light\/\">electrek.com.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Video shows Tesla Model 3 automatically stopping for a red light.
