Some phenomenal concepts have popped up and many car experts consider that the most notable among them is Porsche Mission E concept.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Electric and hybrid vehicles\u00a0are increasingly becoming the focus for big car manufacturers. Tesla is paving the way but the leading car makers are not far behind.\u00a0 Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley and McLaren all debuted their models that use the same technology at the\u00a02015 Geneva Motor Show\u00a0in March.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Porsche, which is part of the gigantic Volkswagen Group (and also owns Audi, Bentley, Lamborghini, Bugatti, SEAT, Skoda and Volkswagen itself), has effectively challenged Tesla Motors in the electric car market by its Mission E concept as it goes further and has faster charging time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Mission E is a four-door <a href=\"http:\/\/interplextransportation.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">vehicle<\/a> which has 600 horsepower. It will be able to accelerate from 0 to 60 in 3.5 seconds, beating the 4.2 seconds of the newest generation\u00a0Porsche 911.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Porsche will hit Tesla where it hurts- the charging technology. The company claims its supercar will recharge its battery to 80 percent in only 15 minutes thanks to an 800-volt charger, providing around 300 miles of range. That beats Tesla\u2019s Supercharger that needs 30 minutes to add 170 miles. The Mission E can also be connected to a standard 400-volt charger.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Porsche has a built-in inductive charging. If you have a special coil in your garage floor, you could park your Mission E and you don\u2019t even have to plug it in for an overnight charge.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The body of the supercar is made up of a mix of aluminium, steel and carbon fibre reinforced polymer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Mission E is only a concept and there is no information on the price but the car is expected to reach the market within five years.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">See the video <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=HdYg2EPMKiI\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The 66th Frankfurt Motor Show, one of the largest motor shows on the calendar, kicked off this week.
