In not so distant future, the roads will communicate directly with vehicles and will help them to move as quickly and safely as possible.
According to some transit planners, the “smart roads” will unlock bigger benefits from autonomous vehicles. The new network of roads is expected to increase the number of accidents and make the trips faster and cheaper.
