September is a “Magical Dinning” Month in Orlando

Prickly PearMagical Dinning Month is an annual event and 2013 is its eighth year.  Over 70 area restaurants are participating in this year’s month-long event. As September is at the end of the summer tourist season, this event is making Orlando an attractive destination for a late vacation.

This is a wonderful opportunity to experience some of the different restaurant venues in Orlando at impressive discounts. On average, restaurants charging $30 for their three course dinner generally have entrees ranging in price from $20 to $35, with appetizers averaging around $10 and desserts for another $5 to $10. Not a bad deal – just be sure you bring your appetite!

This special is not limited to Florida residents. Tourists to the Central Florida area are encouraged to take advantage of these discounted dining specials. The program is bringing back another, less-well-known variation that launched last year: Magical Nights – there are several packages pairing dinner for two with a one-night hotel stay, aiming to get people to spend the night at select hotels in the area after their meal. And

With James Beard-nominated chefs and celebrity chef restaurants, Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining Month serves up the best of Orlando’s emerging culinary scene, including: nationally-recognized chefs and celebrity chef restaurants. And the best thing – it it happening at many places at the same time and you can choose the restourant and hotel that best fit your taste.
